To ensure that we fulfill our mandate we will focus on these key result areas:

Serving as a Resource to the IBEW
The Health, Wellness and Benefits Committee will serve as a resource to the IBEW regarding health, wellness and benefits by becoming informed of and staying current about issues related to these areas.

Supporting Health, Wellness and Benefits Activities
The Health, Wellness and Benefits Committee, through the benefit trust fund, will support and encourage activities that positively impact the health, wellness and/or benefits of IBEW members.

• To engage in and support professional development activities that will build capacity within the IBEW related to issues associated with health, wellness and benefits
• To co-sponsor with the Training Trust Fund the delivery of five, "10 to Go" and three "Plan Smart" workshops
• To initiate a program that provides financial assistance to support and encourage "Workplace Wellness Activities"
• To initiate a pilot program that provides financial support to teams of IBEW members wishing to participate in community, charitable fundraising activities related to health and wellness
• To participate in an initiative to procure anti-viral kits
