Unit #7 Members attend National Day of Mourning ceremonies in Moncton
Posted April 28 2010

Every year on April 28 in Canada, and in over 100 other countries worldwide, the National Day of Mourning is observed to remember all workers who have fallen ill, been injured or have died as a result of workplace-related accidents or disease. It is also a time to remember all the family, friends and co-workers who have been affected by these events.

Join us in taking this opportunity to reaffirm our shared commitment to working safely and helping others work safely as well. In the IBEW it is essential we all work together to get the job done. We encourage each of you to take care of yourself and your fellow employees in every task you do. Continue to lead by example, making safety your number one priority.
