The courses include subjects such as Improving Your Listening Skills, Time Management, Back Safety and All About the Internet, with a number of courses authored in French. Courses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until May 1, 2013. We are confident that you and friends and family members will find courses that will address both your needs and interests, and these courses are available to all members and friends of Local 37 at no charge!!

Every time that you sign on, you will need to enter:

  • The IBEW Password : IBEW2
  • Your Membership number, or if you don't know your number enter your date of birth. Any format will do as long as it is at least 6 characters in length and no more than 12. Always use this same format for future visits, as it will serve as your unique identifier to maintain your record.

The First time you sign on, you need to set up your personal account: enter your Date of Birth, First Name and Last Name:

Who runs the union?

YOU DO!

Ultimately all the Union officers are there for you. You have more power than you may realize, as you can influence many aspects of the Union. As an example, each member is a vital part of the decision making process of the Local Union.

Some of your responsibilities as a member are:

  • Electing local union officials
  • Voting on policies and actions of the Union
  • Amending by-laws and agreement
  • Voting on where and how your union dues get spent
  • Voting on which benefits will be improved
  • Putting motions forward for the betterment of the Union
  • Having a voice in opposing issues that are detrimental to the Union
