This plan can mean increased efficiency, better oversight, more stability for Local 37 members, and the opportunity for the EUB to examine all aspects of NB Power. This will clearly show that NB Power and its employees are doing an excellent job serving their customers.

Local 37 election results!

Ballots were delivered to the Local 37 office on the afternoon of June 16th by the union's accounting firm, MacMillan & MacMIllan. Members Lucy Vautour and Delbert Cogswell assisted office staff, Leslie and Annette in verifying all returned ballots for eligibility and then counting them, all under the supervision of Election Judge Bob Tucker.

Ross Galbraith was re-elected as Business Manager, Steve Hayes was re-elected as Priesident, Romeo Bourque was elected as Vice President and Gaetan Chiasson was re-elected as Treasurer. Peggy Galbraith was unopposed for the Recording Secretary.

Unit #7 Members attend National Day of Mourning ceremonies in Moncton

Every year on April 28, Canada, and in over 100 other countries worldwide, the National Day of Mourning is observed to remember all workers who have fallen ill, been injured or have died as a result of workplace-related accidents or disease.
