An Innovative, One-of-a-kind Training Program
It began in the late 80''s as a joint initiative of IBEW Locals 1733 and 2309, NB Power and Government of Canada. IBEW Local 37 has continued to build on this arrangement.
The courses are focused on the development of "soft skills", like conflict resolution, time management, and communication skills that will help you both on the job and in your personal life. We are always open to suggestions for new courses. All members of IBEW Local 37 are eligible to attend. Expenses for courses, including travel, accommodations and meals, are covered by the Training Trust Fund. In most cases time off work can be arranged in order to attend.
