Ross Galbraith

Ross Galbraith
Business Manager

Ross is the Business Manager for Local 37 of the IBEW. Since starting work full-time for the union in 1996, Ross has been heavily involved in such diverse activities as contract negotiations, grievances and adjudications, labour board hearings, government and media relations, and participating on joint benefits committees and labour management committees. Representing labour, he is a member of the NB2026 roundtable (www.nb2026.ca), a group consisting of 35 New Brunswickers that come from many different communities and sectors who are working to help New Brunswick become a better place to live and work. Ross lives in Saint John with his wife Krista and two sons, James and John. They have a cat, tropical fish and a horse. In addition to being very active within his hometown, where he has served on several community committees, Ross enjoys training and driving race horses, fishing, and reading.

Claude Richard

Claude Richard
Assistant Business Manager

Claude is a Power Line Technician and has been a member of IBEW since 1989. He started working full-time with the union in 2000 and graduated from the University of Moncton the same year. In addition to negotiating collective agreements, Claude is responsible for representing and advising union members on a number of issues. He is involved with a number of union related committees and groups including Corporate Benefits, building trade meetings, Atlantic Utilities Council, Power Line Technician Apprenticeship Advisory Committee, Customer Service Labour Management, and Transmission Labour Management. Claude lives with his wife Joanne and two children, Marcel and Chantal in Hanwell. Claude thoroughly enjoys being active in snowmobiling, boating, flying R.C. (radio-controlled) Aircraft and volunteering with Ecole St. Anne's High School Hockey team.

Greg Wright

Greg Wright                                                                                                      Business Representative

Greg is an IT Specialist and has been a member of the IBEW since 2000. He quickly took a strong interest in the union and was involved in many different capacities.  In 2009, he achieved Senior Shop Steward status after many years of serving as a Shop Steward.  His other service includes Vice Chair for local unit meetings and recently as a member of the Executive Board for the Generation sector.  As a Business Representative for Local 37, his primary responsibility is to represent Local 37 members’ interests on a variety of labour relations issues.  In addition, he serves on a number of committees: Joint Health and Benefits, Health Wellness and Benefits and the Canadian Council of Professionals.  Greg lives with his wife Melissa in Saint John.  They have a dog and have recently welcomed their first born child, a daughter Adele.  Outside of union involvement, he has strong desire to help people and create positive influence and is committed to giving back to the community by teaching martial arts to youth.

Mary Williamson

Mary Williamson
Assistant Business Manager - Strategic Initiatives

Mary joined the Local 37 team in 2009. In this role, her primary responsibilities include planning and implementing initiatives that are in line with the Local's strategic plan, putting the communications plan into action, advancing membership development activities, and fostering positive internal and external relations. Prior to working at the Union office, Mary was the Communications Director for the New Brunswick Forest Products Association. With over 10 years communications and public relations experience, and a degree in Forestry and Environmental Management, Mary brings a broad range of expertise and experience to the union and its members. She and her husband John live in Douglas with their two girls Janey and Anna, and two German shorthaired pointers, Morley and Helen. She loves getting outside with her family, running the dogs, and being involved in her local community.

Annette Perry

Annette Perry
Training Trust Fund Coordinator / Senior Administration Support

Annette has been with IBEW Local 37 since 1998. As the Education Coordinator, she is responsible for managing the Training Trust Fund, coordinating training courses, and office administration. Annette is also very active with some of the union's committees, including: the Training Trust Fund; Health, Wellness, and Benefits; and the Learning Activities Sub-committee. Before working full-time with the union office, Annette worked as a term employee with NB Power in various departments. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as certifications in Business Administraion and Computer Programming.  She has a son Greg (Saint John), daughter Gina, (Keremeos, BC) son-in law Coady, and three grandchildren, Zach, Anna and Evan. She is also the Commanding Officer of an Army Cadet Corps in Harvey Station. When not spending time with her family and friends or at the Cadet Corps, Annette enjoys her two cats, walking, movies, gardening and yard work at her home in Lincoln.

Leslie MacNeill

Leslie MacNeill
Accounting and Payroll Administrator

As the Accounting & Payroll Administrator for Local 37, Leslie is responsible for paying the bills and processing payroll for the union office employees. She is also an office administrator where she does what's needed to help keep the office running smoothly. Prior to joining the Local 37 office in 2005, Leslie put both her business and education degrees to work as an accounting clerk at the former St. Anne Nackawic Pulp Company Ltd, and as a supply teacher in School District 14. Leslie is a past member of the former Canadian Paperworkers Union,CEP,and CAW unions. As well, she served as the office shop steward while at St. Anne-Nackawic. She and her husband Mackie reside in Burtts Corner with their two children, Peter and Jordyn, and Sheltie Brodee. She is committed to her community by volunteering with Keswick Valley Minor Hockey, Summerfest Community Days Committee, and Keswick Valley Recreation Council.
