NextGen

IBEW Local 37’s NextGen committee is dedicated to increasing union activism through education, engagement and leadership opportunities, and to equip young members with the tools to be the leaders of tomorrow.

Our younger members are the next generation. They are paramount to the growth and survival of our union. Full of new perspectives, ideas, and trends; younger members are one of the key drivers of change.

What is NextGen and why is it important?

NextGen is for IBEW members 35 years and younger who want to make an impact in the organized labour movement, and their community. This NextGen committee creates a space for the younger generation to get involved, network with peers, and have a voice in the future of their union.

Political Action Committee

The IBEW Local 37 Political Action Committee (PAC) works to bring attention to issues that matter most to our members, our union, and the labour movement. Because the decisions made by our elected officials impact all of us – at work, at home, and in our communities – political action is paramount to helping improve the lives of our members and their families.

Committee Members:
Peter Hanlon
Dave Brown, PAC Co-Chair
Bernie Lynch, PAC Co-Chair
