Mark it READ for Dyslexia!

Did you know that 10-20% of Canadians are impacted by dyslexia? Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that makes it difficult to read, write, and spell. The red pen can be a constant reminder of the lack of support needed for children with dyslexia to succeed in school and in everyday life. 

During October, the colour red helps to raise awareness of dyslexia and the work that needs to be done to support young Canadians who are often left feeling frustrated and isolated.  

Join us as we support the #MarkItRead2021 for Dyslexia campaign and help to raise awareness of dyslexia while helping to fight myths and misconceptions of this learning disability.. There are many ways you can get involved from wearing red for one day, making a donation, or attending a lighting in your neighbourhood.
