Solidarity with CUPE NB members

IBEW Local 37 stands in solidarity with members of CUPE NB and supports their current strike for fair and equitable wages. 

These are dedicated, caring, valuable frontline workers who provide much needed services and supports to our province, our communities, and to our families. And throughout this pandemic, they have put their own health and safety at risk for the benefit of all of us.  There is no question – they deserve respect and they deserve better. 

We urge the government to go back to the bargaining table with an offer that recognizes the value and commitment of these workers.
